Work and progress visibility
Visible progress tracking starts with the work
What becomes visible is the work, not people's actions or behavior. Who owns what, how far it has gone, and what was decided: task boards, channels, and minutes put all of it in the same app.
Open Samurai AppRequest materials
- Who is working on what
- Where things are
- How the work was done

What happens when progress can't be seen#
The problem is less a shortage of people than not knowing where things stand.
More "where are we on that?"
The only way to learn the status is to ask the owner. Both sides stop what they're doing every time.
Decisions don't stick
What was decided in a meeting or chat lives only in the memory of those who were there. People who join later can't follow how it got there.
Work done just to report
Updating a progress sheet takes effort several times a week. Over time, the sheet and reality drift apart.
Share owners and due dates on cards#
Task board cards can be viewed as a kanban, Gantt chart, table, or calendar. A card can have several owners, and on a board grouped by owner it appears in each person's column.
- Task list shows the cards you own across every board, nearest due date first
- Put up to 16 people's assignments side by side to check how work is divided
- Filter by status, owner, or label, and export to CSV

Decisions stay where they were discussed#
Channel messages are kept, separated by date. Start a thread from a single message to follow each topic's history. Members added later can read past messages too.
- Meeting minutes are written with decisions and action items, including owners and due dates, kept apart
- Bots in a channel read knowledge and files to answer, but don't write anything

Check the status by asking the agent#
The agent searches and reads past conversations, SIROE pages, tables, and files, then sums up where things stand. It reads only what the person asking has permission and access to view.
- A card can be assigned to the AI as well as to people
- Sensitive actions stop at an approval card, and what was done stays in the conversation
Frequently asked questions#
Does making work visible mean recording what employees do?
No. What Samurai App makes visible is information about work: where things are, how work was done, and who owns what. What each person sees is limited to their permissions and what they can view.
Can I track progress with a Gantt chart?
Yes. Task boards have kanban, Gantt chart, table, and calendar views. The Gantt chart shows 1, 2, 3, or 6 months and can group cards by owner or milestone.
Where do meeting decisions end up?
Meeting minutes are created automatically after the meeting and saved to files. Decisions, action items, and open items are listed separately.
Can I ask about status from the chat tool we already use?
Register a Slack, Microsoft Teams, LINE, or Chatwork channel, and you can call the agent from there. It works within the permissions of the person whose account is linked.
Everyday work comes together, connects, and becomes the company's strength.
