Excel
Total up 100MB-class Excel files in the cloud, without freezing your PC
Upload an Excel file so heavy it freezes on open, ask, and AI reads it in a cloud runtime, totals or reshapes it, and returns the result as a file. Your own PC's memory is not used, so you keep working while it runs.

Heavy Excel files causing headaches like these?#
Opening the file freezes the PC
Sales data with hundreds of thousands of rows, or logs that grow every month, take minutes just to open. Sometimes Excel stops responding and the work starts over.
The same steps for every report
Narrow the columns, filter by conditions, total by store. Every month the same person repeats the same steps by hand.
Only some PCs can handle it
Only people with high-memory PCs can work with heavy files. When they are away, the monthly report stops.
Upload and ask, and AI totals it in the cloud#
Attach an Excel file to the chat and ask "total sales by store and month". AI processes it in a cloud runtime, reading the file a little at a time. You get the result as a new Excel or CSV file.
- Uploads up to 500MB per file
- Result files up to 100MB each
- Legacy .xls files are converted to .xlsx first
Open and edit workbooks up to 25MB in a spreadsheet view in the browser#
.xlsx, .xlsm, .csv, and .tsv open in an Excel-like spreadsheet view. They are readable on a PC without Excel, and saving after editing cells rewrites only the parts of the original file you changed.
- Column, bar, line, area, pie, and doughnut charts are shown and can be edited in place
- Charts, pivot tables, and macros stay as they were in the original file after saving
- Workbooks with very large sheets open read-only, showing the first 20,000 rows of each sheet
Write macros in TypeScript and run them on screen or in the cloud#
Macro-style processing is written in TypeScript and runs both in the browser and in the cloud. For VBA macros, the parts that can be converted run as TypeScript, and the rest runs in Excel on your own Windows PC.
- .xlsm files are saved as .xlsm, and their VBA macros are left untouched
- VBA that uses UserForms or ActiveX is not converted
Frequently asked questions#
Can I open a 100MB Excel file on screen in the browser?
On-screen viewing and editing go up to 25MB. For larger files, ask AI in the chat and it reads them in a cloud runtime to total or reshape them.
Can several people edit the same workbook at once?
There is no simultaneous editing. If someone else saved first, you are notified, and you reload before continuing.
Will the original formatting and charts break?
Saving rewrites only the parts of the original file you changed. Charts, pivot tables, and macros stay as they were.
Do VBA macros run?
Procedures that can be converted are turned into TypeScript and run on screen and in the cloud. Anything that cannot be converted, such as UserForms or ActiveX, runs in Excel on your own Windows PC.
